Masterclass
The renowned French dance artist Kwamé Ba will be a guest at the Masterclass Festival Amsterdam 2026, in collaboration with the Foundation Amsterdam HipHop Centre. On April 17, he will lead a workshop at the Foundation in Amsterdam Zuidoost, where participants have the opportunity to be selected for the masterclass — a unique chance to work intensively with Kwamé and experience his creative process up close. Kwamé leads the workshop on April 17 that culminates in a groovy masterclass on April 18, promising an unforgettable dance party with uptempo hip‑hop beats that will energize the venue and get the dance floor moving.
Talents
At Tolhuistuin on April 18, the masterclass will bring together six professional dancers and four selected workshop participants, all working closely with Kwamé on dynamics, musicality, and personal style. The audience will get an exclusive insight into how a hip‑hop choreography is built from initial ideas to a full expressive performance.
