Masterclass
The focus of the masterclass is on music composition with modular synthesizers. Ciani shares her groundbreaking experience, revealing how she shapes tones, explores textures, and constructs musical structures beyond traditional notation.
Working closely with two talented professionals, she demonstrates how modular systems can be used collaboratively to develop patches, experiment with sound, and bring compositions to life in real time. The session highlights both technical and artistic aspects—from signal routing and modulation to creating a dynamic narrative through sound.
Talents
Talents include Dutch electronic artist Vera Grace, whose immersive techno and modular synthesis explorations are rooted in her successfully completed Associate Degree in Electronic Music at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam (2021–2023) and her ongoing six-month course in Modular Synthesis, Live Patching & Performance Practice (2024–2025). A second talent is to be announced.
